David Cowper Frame (1882-1960) left a significant legacy in Victoria’s architecture. Here is a partial listing of his projects on a leading Canadian architectural history website.
Here are the David C. Frame projects we have included on this site so far:
- Chinese Public School, 636 Fisgard Street, built in 1908-09 for the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association.
- 1305-1311 Broad Street, now Robinson’s Outdoor Store, built in 1909 for the Victoria Creamery.
- 1301 Government Street, (with Douglas James) built in 1946 for the Imperial Bank of Canada
- 564-572 Fisgard Street, built in 1946 for George Joe
