Technology – 1910-1919
As part of our series on Historic Victoria Advertisements, Technology, 1910-1919, here are two 1913 advertisements from the British Columbia Telephone Company (now part of Telus Corporation), on the subject of telephone courtesy and etiquette.
From the ad copy: “The manner in which a person uses a telephone indicates his character to a great extent, and makes either a good or bad impression….Let us throughout the whole house strive to excel in satisfactory telephoning.”
