550 Beach Drive

550 Beach Drive was built in 1912 by designer/contractor David H. Bale for Mrs. E.E. Hibben, who was connected to Thomas N. Hibben of the Hibben-Bone firm which built 1040 Government Street (now the Bedford Regency Hotel) in 1912.

This building has had various exterior renovations over the years. One previous owner enclosed the front porch. That enclosure has since been removed.

The exterior balcony on the second floor is a relatively recent addition.
