1125 Fort Street was designed and built in 1909 by designed/builder David H. Bale for Anna Bantly.

In 1907 Anna Bantly had also hired David H. Bale to design and built the adjacent building at 1127 Fort Street as well as a similar house (now demolished) at 1121 Fort Street.
