Royal Jubilee Hospital – Pemberton Memorial Operating Room

The Pemberton Memorial Operating Room at the Royal Jubilee Hospital, 1952 Bay Street, was built in 1896 by architect John Teague in collaboration with Dr. John Chapman Davie.

It was declared a National Historic Site of Canada in 2009.

You cannot see this building from the street. It stands within the Royal Jubilee Hospital complex and you have to go through the hospital building to see it. A garden area has been built around the Pemberton Memorial Operating Room and the adjacent Pemberton Memorial Chapel.
