As part of our series on Historic Victoria Advertisements, Movies & Theater 1910-1919, here is an 1916 advertisement for the Majestic Theatre feature of Mr. Meeson’s Will, a 1915 silent movie adaptation of the 1888 novel by H. Rider Haggard, starring Florence La Badie.
Also noteworthy is the “COMING!” attraction: Bred In The Bone, starring Dorothy Gish, the younger sister of actress Lillian Gish.
