Notable Architects and Builders In Victoria History
Henry Holdsby Simmonds (1883-1954) was a Vancouver based architect who specialized in theatres. Here is a partial list of his projects.
We only know of one Henry Simmonds project in Victoria: the Odeon Theatre, 780 Yates Street, which is listed on the Canadian Register of Historic Places as an outstanding example of Streamline Moderne design.
